just look on.
The state of the economy is so critical that economic articles are everywhere. The Fed dropped interest rates drastically last week and may do so again tomorrow. That means that if you have a savings account for college, or for anything, you can watch your savings grow MUCH more slowly than they did a year ago. Last night President Bush talked about the economy at length trying to get people not to panic over the possibility of a recession/depression. Look at his state of the union address. And look at the tax cut/ rebate issue. That will be decided in Congress this week. Will the Dems who want more money to go back to the poor, or the Reps who want the money to go to businesses, win? and what will that mean for you? What will your family do with the money – if they are entitled to any at all?
You can always count on the large newspapers to have thorough articles on current issues. Here’s one on the tax cuts/rebates from the NY Times. Look Also at Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, USA Today, etc
